Who Is Ron LeGrand?

I guess this is where I'm supposed to impress you with my accomplishments over the last 26 years as an honors graduate from the school of hard knocks. Before I attempt to do so, I'd have to say one of the hardest things for me to learn was that I didn't have all the answers - but there was always someone close by who did, if I would only ask.

As a teacher I've discovered there isn't a subject you want to learn or a business you wish to enter where someone else hasn't blazed the trail before you, made the mistakes and paid the price and made it easier for all those who follow. All we have to do is find those "someones" and ask. However, that seems to be a hard thing for some folks to do - especially us males with high testosterone.

I've made a lot of stupid mistakes myself while simultaneously making a lot of millionaires all over North America and other parts of the world. They call me the world's leading expert at quick turning houses and that's a title I'll proudly fess up to. I've bought and sold over 1,600 houses and still do up to this day.

I've taught this business to countless thousands, many of which have taught me even more. I became the best at what I do because I chose to teach it. I believe that's the only way you can stay on the cutting edge.

In 1982, I was a dead broke mechanic trying to make a living swapping hours for dollars. Thirty-five years old and lost I didn't have a clue what I wanted to be when I grew up but I knew I wouldn't stop until I found something better. I was broke, bankrupt and spent every dime I could make as fast as I could get it. There was no such thing as disposable income around my house. It was all disposed of before I got it.

Then one day I saw an ad that said, "Come learn how to buy real estate with no money or credit." That sure sounded like me since I had neither. That seminar changed my life, not because of what I learned so much as what it did for me. You see, I found my vehicle that day that would guide me to financial freedom in real estate.

Three weeks after leaving that seminar I made my first $3,000 in real estate. I immediately called my boss and said, "I'm upping my income ... up yours." It was apparent to me I had been walking over the dollars to get to the dimes my whole life.

Several years later, after hundreds of real estate deals, I started teaching what I had learned. That was the beginning of a whole new career of selling information products to others who wanted to know what I knew.

It all started with a $10 book I created, so I wouldn't have to give the same answers over and over when people wanted to know how I was so successful. That gradually evolved into a publicly held company I founded, based on good solid real estate practices and spawned a TV show that was on the air over four years.

Along the way, I've promoted and conducted hundreds of seminars, boot camps and training events on several subjects including real estate, information marketing, internet marketing, platform speaking, seminar promoting, business management, negotiating, and raising capital.

I've spoken beside past presidents, actors, foreign leaders, politicians, movie stars, business leaders, sports heroes, famous singers and other legends (recently including Donald Trump, Tony Robbins, Suze Ormond, Robert Kiyosaki, Rudi Giuliani and others), with audiences as small as 50 and as big as 10,000, in all parts of the USA and Canada.

I've created a mountain of tapes, books and training materials, built marketing systems and strategies for my own companies and in the process brainstormed with and interviewed the "best of the best" financial minds and some of the richest people in my industry and others, while managing to stay married to the same lady for 42 years and raising 4 children who have produced 9 grandchildren.

Today, I am very heavily involved with student-partner deals all over America.  Together, we acquire property by simply applying the basic principles I learned and these are the same principles I now teach in explicit detail to the attendees at our live training events.

Looking back I could have done most of these things in one fourth the time it took if I would have spent more time listening and learning and less time reinventing the wheel and being the pioneer. One of the most important lessons I learned took years to acquire. I try to teach it everywhere I go, in the hope I can short cut the learning curve of those I touch.

That lesson is ...

The Less I Do, The More I Make.

It's not about working hard or putting in the hours. It's about doing the right things to allow you to get rich and soliciting others who share the same dreams to help. The world is full of good people who will follow the fellow who follows his dreams. Follow yours and don't let any SOB stop you!

I look forward to working with you,

Ron LeGrand
